Arming doublet

A lightly padded closely tailored jacket designed for duelling or if you prefer less padding. Based on historical patterns with a modern twist. We tailor for women too, no extra ties and loops to catch in armour, just tailored to fit you.

Arming doublets have a cinched waist and are reinforced and eyeletted to carry leg and arm harness with no need for additional suspension belts. They pair extremely well with our battle hose to complete your historical arming ensemble.

Our arming doublet features breathable and durable fabrics. The fast drying wadding is a single layer. Wadding is removed from the inside of the elbows and under arms to prevent bunching. The sleeves are designed for maximum mobility using a historical grande assiette sleeve head with ergonomic elbows.

Outer fabric is linen, wadding cotton blend, lining linen blend.
